FON - deling av internett
Nå har jeg blitt en FONERO!
I dag kom UPS-buden med min nye trådløse ruteren fra FON.
Ved hjelp av denne spesielle ruteren og min medlemskap i fon-nettverket deler jeg en del av mitt bredbånd med andre fon- medlemer (Foneros) hvis disse er i nærheten. Til gjengjeld kan jeg bruke bredbåndet til andre Foneros rundt omkring i verden - og det er det p. i dag nesten 700000 av - gratis. En fin ting når man er f.eks. på ferie. På FonMaps kan man lete etter FonSpots verden over. Genial ide, synes jeg.
Som det ser ut er også sikkerheten er på plass. Ruteren har to nettverk - en privat som er kryptert og en offentlig som er åpent for Foneros.
